Arkansas General Assembly Update and Luncheon
Tuesday, April 5, 2016 7:00 AM

The Arkansas General Assembly met in a special session called by Gov. Asa Hutchinson yesterday to address his revamped Medicaid program called Arkansas Works. The regular budget session begins next week.

Cornerstone has planned a legislative luncheon for April 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Capitol Hill Building on the grounds of the State Capitol. Arkansas credit unions, watch for your invitation.

Each year, the Cornerstone hosts this luncheon for Arkansas state legislators, Capitol Hill staff, and constitutional officers and their staff. The luncheon is a great opportunity to visit with your representatives and senators in a relaxed environment where you can demonstrate the credit union difference.

Approximately 200 people are expected to attend, and we hope you're one of them. Mark your calendar.
