Bills of Concern
The latest concerns are the predatory lending bills and the Property Assessed Clean Energy Act.

You can read more about the bills and their authors by clicking on the text linked below.

SB671Hester
To regulate installment loans; to establish the Arkansas Traditional Installment Loan Act; and to declare an emergency. This is a predatory lending bill for a company out of Jackson, Miss, which charges outrageous fees.

HB2026Sabin
To amend the Property Assessed Clean Energy Act. This bill amends the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) loan statutes. They want expand statutes to include residential PACE loans. The measure would give the PACE liens priority over mortgage liens.
