Are You the Next CUNA Board Member?
Wednesday, June 13, 2018 6:45 AM

One of CUNA’s board members has recently ceased to be employed by a District 3, Class A credit union and is therefore ineligible to continue service in that position. The CUNA board of directors is holding a special election to fill that position, which will expire at the adjournment of the Annual General Meeting in 2021.

The state of Arkansas resides within the District 3, and Cornerstone Credit Union League views this board position as a great opportunity for eligible credit union professionals in Arkansas to submit nominations for it.

Eligible candidates for this CUNA director position must be employees or voting board members of a credit union in District 3, Class A. Each nomination must be in writing and must be seconded in writing by two other credit unions in the same district and class. Class A credit unions are those having not more than 38,000 natural person members as of June 30, 2017.

Get additional information, including nomination and seconding forms.

Including Arkansas, District 3 comprises Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

All nominations must be received in writing at the Office of the Corporate Secretary no later than 5 p.m. ET on July 13. Nomination and/or seconding forms will be accepted by mail or email.

Questions regarding this special election can be addressed to CUNA’s corporate secretary by calling 800-356-9655, ext. 4013, or emailing
