Last week, AMOCO Federal Credit Union employees paid their respects to military veterans during a pre-Veterans Day celebration hosted by the American Legion Riders and Elks Club.

Over two dozen wounded service members from the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio were escorted by the American Legion Riders to Galveston Bay. This is the fifth year that the American Legion Riders have made the 225-mile journey to accompany the wounded veterans on their trip.

On Thursday, Nov. 6, the riders, along with police officers and state troopers, led the veterans through Kemah and League City. AMOCO employees waited outside their Tuscan Lakes branch with signs and flags to salute the veterans as they passed and to wish a happy Veterans Day to all those who served our country.

AMOCO Federal Credit Union's mission is: To Serve and Satisfy Our Members, and they have done just that for more than 77 years. For more information, please contact Jerica McClain at (281) 534-5515 or jmcclain@amocofcu.org.
