ALM Essentials and Implementation Workshops Announced for 2017
Monday, April 17, 2017 6:10 AM

Intimidated by credit union financial statements? Overwhelmed by abbreviations and acronyms? Puzzled by ratio results?

The Cornerstone Credit Union League ALM Workshops are the perfect solution for your financial questions. The ALM Essential Workshop addresses the fundamental activities of daily credit union operation—buying deposits, selling loans, making investments, paying expenses, collecting fees—to gain a better understanding of financial information and the ratios they represent.

The ALM Implementation Workshop examines the concept of interest-rate risk and provides an ALM checklist to follow as you develop or refine your credit union’s ALM process.

Whether you are new to credit unions or a seasoned professional wanting an ALM refresher, the ALM Workshops offer an opportunity to gain a better understanding of what the numbers and ratios really mean. These workshops provide the tools to make decisions and manage your credit union more effectively.

Led by Deborah Rightmire, vice president of ALM Resources or Howard Bufe, assistant vice president of OnBalance, the Essentials and Implementation Workshops are designed for management, staff, SCMS students, ALCO members, and boards to enhance their knowledge of asset/liability management tools and techniques.

We look forward to seeing you at the workshops.
