Tuesday, June 20, 2017 6:55 AM

Pam Gonzaque

Pam Gonzaque, Edmond Branch Manager of Allegiance Credit Union (ACU), is celebrating 15 years of service. She is a native of Durant, Miss., and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she studied journalism and public relations.

Gonzaque served as the operations branch manager at Oklahoma Employees Credit Union for ten years before she was hired by ACU in 2002 to become branch manager for ACU’s Edmond location, which was completed in 2003.

With 25 years of management in the credit union industry, Gonzaque has served in numerous professional organizations, including the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce where in 2013 she was awarded “Volunteer of the Year.” As a member of Leadership Edmond Class of XXV, Gonzaque served on the chamber’s board of directors from 2014-2017. She was also selected in 2011 as The Business Times’ “Top 20 Business Leaders Under 40."

“Pam has been one of our longest standing volunteers, always ready to jump in wherever needed,” said Sherry Jordan, president and CEO of the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce. "Several events would not have happened without her. Her positive attitude and willingness make her an inspiration to everyone who works with her! We are so appreciative to have had her help for so many years."

Gonzaque is the proud mother of son, Jaelin, who is an incoming freshman at the University of Central Oklahoma.

The community is invited to celebrate Gonzaque’s milestone at an all-day reception held in her honor at the ACU Edmond Branch (located at 1925 S. Kelly Avenue) on Friday, July 14.

About Allegiance Credit Union
Allegiance Credit Union, formerly Federal Employees Credit Union (FECU), was chartered in February 1963 under the Oklahoma State Banking Laws. It was originally located in the basement of the Federal Courthouse and then moved into the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. April 19, 1995 changed lives drastically as the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building had been bombed and 33 employees drastically turned into 15. In February 2002, Federal Employees Credit Union became a community charter, allowing membership from the six counties surrounding Oklahoma City. The credit union name changed to Allegiance Credit Union on May 1, 2003.  Allegiance continues to grow in asset size, membership, and branch locations. The legacy of FECU, the restoration, and continued growth as Allegiance Credit Union makes members and employees alike, proud to be credit union people. For more information, please visit
