A+ FCU YMCA Christmas Party

A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) helped bring an early Christmas to area children by supporting the YMCA of Austin’s 25th Annual Children’s Christmas Party. The event was held on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the YMCA's East Community Branch.

During the party, over 800 youths celebrated the holidays by playing games, creating gifts for loved ones, and writing letters to Santa. Each child also created an “I’m Grateful Ornament” to hang on the YMCA Christmas Tree. With Santa there, the kids were thrilled to meet him and receive a special gift from him. A+FCU employees volunteered their time and energy to assist the children with the games and activities during the party.

A+ FCU YMCA Christmas PartyA+FCU CEO Kerry A. S. Parker said, "It's rewarding to join the YMCA of Austin and other community sponsors in supporting this special event for the children. A+ is built on the credit union motto of ‘people helping people,’ and we do this throughout the year through numerous philanthropic initiatives."

A+ Federal Credit Union has 18 Austin area locations, over $1 billion in assets, and nearly 120,000 members that include not only educators, students, and their families, but other members of the community as well. To find out more, visit the website at
