66 FCU Changes Name to Truity CU
Friday, July 26, 2013 5:45 AM

66 FCU’s board of directors announced this week that it has changed its name to Truity CU. Kelly Diven, president and CEO of the Bartlesville, Okla.-based credit union, says he wants to make sure everyone understands that this change is in name only.

“We have not been bought or acquired,” he said. “The name change will not impact member accounts, the financial products we offer, or the outstanding service we provide to members.”

According to Diven, the credit union will begin using its new name immediately.

“Our new name, Truity Credit Union, stands squarely on our 74-year foundation of Trust and Integrity,” Diven said. “We are proud of our rich tradition and history with Phillips Petroleum Company since 1939 and, more recently, with ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66; however, Truity Credit Union will help convey that we serve not only these two employee groups, but others as well. It will help position the credit union for future growth and financial strength.”

Diven says the relationships the credit union has enjoyed with Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips, The University of Kansas, Tyson Foods and other select employee groups will continue uninterrupted with no change in the high quality of service they provide.

“Our vision, mission and core values that have served us well for many years will continue to be the core of who we are,” Diven continued. “I want to make sure everyone understands.”
